The 10 Best Stocking Stuffers For New & Pregnant Moms

by Tara Saltzburg

Hey There,

The holidays are quickly approaching and we're gathering up the last few items on our Christmas lists! I don't know about you, but I always find stocking stuffers a little bit difficult, so I save them for last. The WB team decided to put together a stocking stuffer gift guide, and since new and pregnant mamas deserve a little extra holiday love, we decided to start with them. If you fall into the pregnant or new mom category, you may want to share it with the "Santa" that will be filling your stocking this year! Just click those FB links right up there ☝️😉 .

You're gonna love what we came up with!

1. Pregnancy Journal

Each woman's pregnancy experience is different; why not give her a place to document that special journey? From Pea to Pumpkin ($12) provides plenty of easy to fill-in prompts while showcasing the baby's weekly progress with images of watercolor fruits and veggies.

Another super-cute option is the Mamentos Pregnancy Journal ($15), which allows soon-to-be mamas to record their memories by providing sweet and funny prompts.

2. Cute Tank or Tee

From funny to cute, we love the idea of a comfy tank or tee for a new or pregnant mom.

A few of our faves are the "Naptime Hustle" tank and "Mamahood" tee from Ellie & Rae. They retail at $24.00, but you can use the code WESTYN15 for 15% off this and all other apparel now thru December 31st!

3. Accessories

Any new mom will need accessories for their little bundle of joy! Bows, pacifier clips, and other baby accessories make great stocking stuffers.

Posey Baby makes super cute hair accessories that any mom expecting a baby girl will go crazy for! The threesome below retails at $15.

Perfectly Cloudy specializes in pacifier clips and hair bows. Our fave is the donut print! This clip retails at $18 but you can get 15% off now thru December 31st with code PERFECTWESTYN15.

4. Teethers

Teething necklaces are both stylish and functional and they make a great, thoughtful stocking stuffer. Indie & Chic has a selection of beautiful, handmade teething necklaces and other teethers ranging from $20-$30. Now thru December 31st, you can get 15% off with the code 15Westyn.

Another favorite shop of ours is LexyPexy. These wooden teethers retail at $26 are beautifully handcrafted in NYC. They come in a variety of fun shapes including a pretzel, a donut, and of course, a bottle of juice!

5. Beautycounter Baby Balm

Free of over 1,500 harmful or questionable chemicals that are often found in other beauty products, Beautycounter is known for developing luxurious, clean products. Their baby balm ($22) is ultra hydrating and perfect for delicate newborn skin. Moms can feel good about the ingredients they're putting on their little one's skin. That new mama may end up finding that she uses it on her own skin just as often as baby's!

6. New Mom Must-Read

If you've had a baby, chances are you've experienced at least one thing that made you say "WTF". Jenny McCarthy's Belly Laughs actually had me laughing out loud throughout my own pregnancy. This eye-opening recount of Jenny's pregnancy journey was entertaining and relatable. Love her or hate her, you gotta respect the honest and hilarious anecdotes in this must-read for first-timers.

Another great book for new moms is The Mommy Shorts Guide to Incredibly Average ParentingFrom the creator of the popular blog, Mommy Shorts, Ilana Wilde pays homage to the unglamorous truths of parenthood. With it's great pictures and relatable humor, it's a must-read for new moms (and veteran moms alike).

7. Mama Snacks

For moms who plan to breastfeed, healthy lactation bars and cookies are a great way for her to keep her energy up! Milkful and Boobie Bars are both great options, chock full of natural ingredients that have been shown to boost milk supply. And if she's not breastfeeding, they still taste great!

8. Funny Mug

Mama will probably be back to loading up on caffeine after the baby's born and she's gonna need it! For a mom with a sense of humor, we found these hilarious mugs on Etsy for $15.

9. Travel Pouch

For moms on the go, a pouch to keep all of baby's necessities like medicine, lotion, nail clippers and diaper cream, is a perfect choice. We found this cute "Baby Things" pouch at Livestyled for $20.

10. Gift Card

You can't go wrong with a gift card! A gift to the spa or nail salon is always a good idea, but for something a little more creative, we love the idea of a gift card to StitchFix, the at-home styling juggernaut that recently launched a maternity option 🙌 !
